STOC: Stereo-on-a-Chip for 3-D from the Camera!

The STOC performs stereo processing on the camera instead of on the PC, faster, with low power — just 2 watts — in a compact package. Now you can off-load the stereo computation from your PC, freeing up resources for your own application.

Tailored to your needs with 6, 9, 15, and 30 cm baselines. Highlights of the STOC include:

  • Small Vision System™ stereo analysis software (one license for either MS Windows 2000 / XP / Vista* or Linux 2.4 / 2.6)
  • 2 meter IEEE 1394 6-pin to 6-pin cable

Requirements

  • Pentium-compatible PC (Pentium PIII/clone or better) running MS Windows 2000 / XP / Vista* or Linux 2.4 / 2.6 kernel
  • IEEE 1394 PCI or PCMCIA card.  IEEE 1394 card must supply 1.5W of power through the 6-pin cable.  Most PCI cards do this; PCMCIA cards must have a separate transformer power input.  Interface cards are available from Videre Design, see Accessories

* Vista compatible for all cameras sold after 12/01/08.
