STH-DCSG-VARX

The STH-DCSG-VARX holds two global shutter cameras on a wide variable baseline rig for large-baseline applications for scenes with motion: Global shutter, low-noise, high-sensitivity CMOS imager. Color or monochrome.  Uncompressed video at VGA resolution (30 fps). Full synchronization of the cameras. Simple IEEE 1394 FireWire interface.  Variable baseline from 18 to 60 cm. Extremely rigid aluminum alloy bracket. Includes C/CS-mount lenses and SRI Small Vision System software for real-time stereo analysis. Offering high performance and low power with motion capture in a flexible package.

Requirements

  • Pentium-compatible PC (Pentium PIII/clone or better) running MS Windows 2000 / XP / Vista* or Linux 2.4 / 2.6 kernel 
  • IEEE 1394 PCI or PCMCIA card.  IEEE 1394 card must supply 1.5W of power through the 6-pin cable.  Most PCI cards do this; PCMCIA cards must have a separate transformer power input.  Interface cards are available from Videre Design, see Accessories
