Laser Rangefinder for ERA-MOBI                   Order Form

One of the best sensors for mobile robots is a scanning laser rangefinder.  These devices mechanically scan a laser beam, producing a distance map to nearby objects.  Videre Design offers two laser rangefinders that scan in a plane.

Hokuyo URG laser range finder for ERA-MOBI mobile robot platform from Videre Design

Hokuyo URG

The URG is a lightweight, low-power, lower-cost laser rangefinder.
